Shipping policy

Delivery costs for UK & Ireland:

Our shipping policy is such that we ship to the UK and Ireland free of charge. For all other countries, please contact us. We are not authorised to supply mainland Europe; please refer to your own country’s Hartan Mercedes-Benz dealer network. 

Orders, payments and shipping

We accept Debit/Credit cards or PayPal as forms of payment.

Your product will be ready for dispatch from between approximately 4 to 14 weeks from the date of order. We operate a 24-hour (Monday to Friday) courier service, meaning that once your product is ready for dispatch, you should normally receive it the next working day. However, due to circumstances beyond our control, delivery can sometimes take up to 3 working days and we will notify you of this when possible. This applies to the UK MAINLAND & NON-REMOTE AREAS ONLY. If you live in a REMOTE area, please contact us for further information regarding delivery times.

Pre-ordered items: Once pre-ordered items are available to dispatch, you will be contacted to arrange a suitable delivery day.

Medium and large sized items are normally sent out via DPD for next working day delivery.* Smaller items are sent via Royal Mail. As a security measure, most high value items are dispatched via DPD for delivery on an agreed date.

If you supply an e-mail address and mobile phone number at time of order you can normally track your parcel. DPD will email or text you a delivery slot, meaning you can track the progress of the delivery driver on the DPD website.

Returns (UK customers)

As an internet buyer you have legal rights in UK law under the Consumer Contracts Regulations and you can return your purchase within the time frames set out in these regulations. However, products must be returned unused and in the same condition as supplied. Please contact us for a returns number to activate a return, which will be at the purchasers cost. There may be a restocking fee; please contact us regarding this before sending your item back.

Faulty products (UK customers)

In the unlikely event that you incur a problem with a product we have supplied, please contact us for help.

For all types of return, you will be required to provide proof of purchase, such as your order number or the date of purchase. All returns must be accompanied with a returns number. If it is decided that the goods need to be returned for inspection, this will be at the purchaser’s expense.

Products are sent to our suppliers for inspection. If it is found that a manufacturing fault exists, within the product’s warranty period, this will be rectified at our (or our supplier’s) expense.

The purchaser must ensure that any items being returned for inspection are securely packaged in the original packaging. We will not accept any items that have not been correctly packaged or that we have not authorised. We accept no responsibility for items damaged in transit that are being returned to us from the buyer.

At all times, we consider our supplier’s decision, in relation to complaints, as final. In the event that a fault develops that is not due to a manufacturing fault, the cost of repair and transport will be at the purchaser’s expense. We reserve the right to send parts and spares to purchasers should our supplier deem this appropriate. Should we send replacement parts, you will need to keep the old parts for a period of 3 months or to send them back to us, if requested.

Products supplied must be used strictly in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations and instructions, as failure to do so will result in any claims being void.

Returns (Non-UK customers only)

Over and in addition to the above, if a product is returned to us for inspection or repair the full cost of the delivery and return courier must be paid by the buyer. There is no guarantee of refund, even if the item is under warranty, as the supplier’s warranty may not be valid outside of the UK (please contact us for full details). The cost of delivery of any replacement or spare part is payable by the customer.
